Brokerage disclosure
A clear explanation of the separate responsibilities of VNTAR and the brokerage provider.
1. Who provides brokerage services
VNTAR is a technology platform. Brokerage accounts and related brokerage functions are carried by Alpaca Securities LLC, subject to eligibility, approval, broker documentation, and applicable laws and regulations.
The brokerage provider maintains the controlling brokerage records for accepted accounts and transactions. It is responsible for the brokerage functions it performs, which may include account approval, execution, custody, clearing, statements, confirmations, and related records.
2. VNTAR’s platform role
VNTAR provides an interface for account opening workflows, account views, order-entry requests, funding experience, support, and operations tooling. It does not guarantee that an application will be approved, an order will be accepted, or a trade will execute at a displayed price.
Brokerage availability, order eligibility, market access, account features, and funding capabilities can vary by customer, product, jurisdiction, broker policy, and market conditions.
3. Customer responsibilities
You should review broker-provided account agreements, confirmations, statements, and disclosures and promptly report discrepancies. You are responsible for keeping account information current, safeguarding login credentials, reviewing transaction activity, and understanding the risks and charges of your account.
For questions about an account, trade, transfer, or platform display, start through VNTAR support. We will handle the request within our role and coordinate with the brokerage provider when the matter concerns its services or records.
